Section: A (Create first Virtual Machine)
1. Create the windows folders to house the first virtual machines and the shared storage.
F:\>mkdir RAC1
F:\>mkdir SHARED-STORAGE
2. Open VMWARE Console and Click on New Virtual Machine and click next.
3. Select Virtual Machine Configurations: Custom
4. Select Gust Operation System: Sun Solaris and version solaris10
5. Type virtual Machine Name (RAC1) and Location (F:/RAC1).
6. Set Access Right (Select Default Value)
7. Select Startup/Shutdown option (Select Default value)
8. Process Configuration (Select number of process: One)
9. Set memory for the virtual Machine (700MB)
10. Select Network Connection. Total 4 options (Select Host Only Network)
User Bridge connection
Use network address translation (NAT)
Use host only network (Select Host Only Network)
Do not use a network
11. Select I/O Adepter types (LSI Logic)
12. Select a Disk (create a new virtual disk)
13. Select a Disk type (Select: IDE)
14. Specify Disk Capacities. (8 GB) and Click on Finish Button.
Now your virtual machine is ready to install Solaris 10 OS
